I searched this topic on the Forums and the Wiki. There has been some interest in the past in having SqueezeBox optionally announce tracks.
My dear departed CD3O was able to do that (badly) back in 2003. It couldn't handle "Bruce Cockburn", for example :-) Is there no current interest in this feature? Is it too hard to do, using open-source text-to-speech code? What are the roadblocks?
