slimserver is running on OSX (10.4.9). Itunes on same server. This issue with missing artists appeared after upgrading to 6.5.x. Never an issue with older builds. For a while (6.5.1) I had missing albums for an artist but that seemed to resolve when I went to the 6.5.2 nightly build.
I'll take a look at validating that there's no corruption on my tags.
