It's good to get a summary of what worked for you. >From 6.5.1 a change in Slimserver makes use of socketwrapper for formats that needs transcoding such as m4a. However some security s/w stops the distributed socketwrapper from working (usually they think it is a Trojan app) - this may be the case on your system.
What security/Antivirus/Firewall s/w have you installed. It is hoped to change the distribution to use the new socketwrapper when it is shown to work in most, if not all cases - so understanding your system configuration is important to use a test case. -- bpa ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=34754 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
