Part of the problem seems to be an upgrade I did yesterday to the newest hamachi client software (1.0.2.1)
On their forums, many users, myself included, have lost our free connectivity due to some changes in the newest version. Well, here I go again, back to square one with the streaming to work across the corporate firewall.
