I live in an area served by both Comcast and Verizon. I have Verizon DSL 1.5 Mbps service. I have no problems streaming internet audio even from the high bitrate stations that stream at 192kbps. The only issue I have is I occasionally have to reset the modem (once every 2-4 weeks). Sometimes my wife will start complaining about web pages being slow or not being able to download her email. Everything else continues to work fine, including internet radio.
