This jogged my memory - I believe there were reports of this when Apple
changed the way they added album art to the files.  They did it in a
non-standard way and inserted the album art with non-standard tag
delimiters which caused certain playback programs to try to play back
the image data, resulting in a fax-like screech.

But this is WMA we're talking about now.  Still?
