The most recent Windows (Vista) Update installed new drivers for the motherboard's nVIDIA network that apparently erased my SlimServer and Squeezebox settings. After wrestling with it for a while I was able to restore everything; I then updated my Slimserver to the current 6.5.2 (I previously had 6.5_v2007-03-07). It got stuck at installing the latest firmware but after rebooting, firmware 81 was quickly installed and everything else worked just as well as before.
