Yes you're right, using 'top' I can see that every few seconds there is a spike of CPU load from the slimserver.pl process. Do you know of a way to downgrade? I can handle the server-side easily enough, but would this trigger the Squeezebox to downgrade its firmware to the older version again? Perhaps just reverting to v6.5.1 on the server will be enough to fix this? I will try it out tomorrow.
