- When Ford bought Jaguar, did they start sticking blue ovals on XK8s? - When Electrolux bought Husqvarna, did they change the brand name? - And closer to home: during the time Philips owned Marantz, did they drop the name? - Some companies even invent luxury marques for their top end models (eg. Toyota/Lexus). There's a pattern here, and I for one cannot understand how Logitech can fail to take notice of the actions of these much more experienced companies. It's one thing to stick a Logitech logo on a Squeezebox, which can be seen as a mass-market device. But to put it on a Transporter is plain stupid, marketing-wise. -- cliveb Transporter -> ATC SCM100A ------------------------------------------------------------------------ cliveb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=348 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=35746 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
