Tried that too! Bought myself a used Netvista, put Ubuntu on it, had it running for about a week, and then it also mysteriously died! I'm having a hard time justifying spending $$ to get it up and running again (good money after bad?). There has to be a better paradigm for a rock-solid slimserver for morons like me! I wonder if I have a gaping security hole that's getting exploited? I don't think so, since both XP and Ubuntu have crashed on me.....
