Note that you can apply Pro-Logic to any 2-channel source, so this mode wasn't necessarily triggered by the stream. You may want to search on this forum regarding Dolby Digital pass-through. There are some solutions but unfortunately the file must be specially processed. How are these steams encoded in 5.1? Are there phase queues embedded in the regular 2-channel stream (aka Dolby Surround), is it Dolby Digital or is is some special 5-channel MP3?
