You can configure Internet Connection Sharing (assuming it's Windows) on the internet connection of the living room PC, and that allows the SB3 to see the rest of the network through the PC.
Though it's likely to be less hassle to go and buy a very cheap switch and use that instead to provide an extra connection without connecting the SB3 through the PC.
