Thanks for the tips. I will try the buffer testing tomorrow and post back some results. I have tried the wired method and that seems to be as stable as the wireless method without encryption but again any encrpyption seems to casue problems, so i don't think it is the wireless/wired method that is the problem, merely the encryption method causing issues somewhere down the line. I will try the buffer test on both wired/ wireless and with/without WEP to see what the differences are.
