As a beta testeer for the Jive handset, my impression is that it's "all hands on deck" at Slim Devices. They are working at a furious rate to get this puppy sorted. But we're talking about a seriously complex development.

My guess is that perhaps when the Jive development started, they might have hoped to have it ready by Christmas. But it's now clear that isn't going to happen. In hindsight they've done the right thing - pre-announcing and then missing the Xmas deadline would have been suicide. BTW, I'll just say that the Jive handset is a wonderful little device.
