Please don't think i'm offended in the slightest mark. I value peoples opinions and was just interested in more of an explanation. I missunderstood and thought you meant you wouldn't stand for anything other than your own music playing.
I hadn't really thought about people wanting it to be silent. I guess to be honest where people are doing computer work etc it will be without music, but downstairs is only practical stuff, and I think people will be less inclined to want it silent. Maybe its unfair both ways, I personally can't work at my fumehood for long without music, and I know others are the same, at the computer is different, I like music but often find it irritating and I get frustrated with it.
