Slimpicks now works whereas in the beginning it didn't. So besides Live365 and AlienBBC - is there anything else that doesn't work ? Try a few of the station in Slimpicks to see if they work.
Do you now get timestamps preceding in the log file ? ZoneAlarm is a firewall which can still block apps even when "disabled" and only when uninstalled can you really test if it was affecting connectivity. That said, once configured properly, ZoneAlarm on XP will allow SB to work so there may be an issue since you cannot get SB to work without disabling ZoneAlarm.
