There is something strange with the log - there should be a timestamp so I can tell the duration of the timeout. That could indicate an installation problem.
The timeout could also be caused by a firewall or router problem. 1. Do you have an Apple Airport Extreme router ? 2. If "no" to 1. Did the standalone test after istallation of AlienBBC work ?
