I have an SB2 running firmware 84, and PowerSwitchII is woking fine on that, so I don't think it's a f/w 84 issue. As fas as I know the hardware inside the SB2 and SB3 is identical.
I did a brief test of disabling PSII, and after that the headphone output appeared NOT to be working. I also tried power-cycling the SB2, but that didn't bring the headphones back on either. However, I didn't restart SqueezeCenter. (I then checked that the headphones were still working elsewhere, wondering if I'd inadvertantly pumped 3.3V DC into them and melted the voice coils, but they were fine). I'm wondering if perhaps it may be necessary to actually uninstall PSII before the headphone socket starts working again?
