Hi Adrian, Exactly the same happened with me yesterday. The unit is still dead. I have logged this with support via this site, and the team is responsive. It looks like I have to bring it in though.
It is strange, because I just have it 2 years (almost to the day) without any problems. I think it may be related with the wheather we have been having lately here in Sydney. Lots of rain and thunderstorms. I noticed that my router locked up, and I had to reset it to factory settings to get it working again... Best of luck with your Squeezebox.
