There have been quite a few threads relating to this error and McAfee.
McAfee detects a file is about to be used so it scans it, MySQL then
throws up an error because it can't access the file because McAfee is
scanning it. McAfee finishes with the file and carries on, it didn't
detect any virus so nothing shows in the logs.

I've also seen some comments that even though the on-access scanner is
turned off, it still causes the error.

I've even have had the same error myself, luckily I use the enterprise
version of VirusScan which is much more configurable than the home
version and after I excluded myi and myd files the problem went away.

Can you temporarily uninstall the McAfee programs and try again?
