Same problem for me that started this morning. I used to lookup the page source on the "listen now" page for my favorite radio station (www.chom.com) because once in a while the URL would get updated. I would then have to update my playlist on my slimserver and the favorites on my Squeezenetwork account.
They modified the website overnight and there doesn't seem to be a URL (either ASX or WMA) in the page source. Their FAQ says this: "we are updating our streams to use the latest macromedia flash player... now you can only connect to our streams from the websites and not directly using your Windows Media Player program." I've written to them but... if they're still sending HTTP back to the browser (I ran a packet capture), can't the Slimserver/Squeezebox be the requester instead of my Firefox browser on the PC? Perhaps I need more coffee... the radio station sounds like junk coming across the computer speakers instead of the stereo. -- sdoucet ------------------------------------------------------------------------ sdoucet's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=14803 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=41517 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
