I bought homeplugs after my wireless connection (which had worked fine for more than a year) began to experience problems -- probably competing signals from neighbors. They never provided a satisfactory connection. They connected to the network, but I still had the same problems playing music -- dropouts, disconnections, etc. I sent them back. It cost me $100 to get a security company to hardwire CAT-5 cable -- best money I've spent.
