There are 2 parts to this answer: 1. the SB receiver can set up a local ad-hoc network for the controller to run on. So can either of the SB3s. You might chose one or the other, depending on where you are most often going to use the controller and where the various SBs are. 2. the Duet requires Slimserver 7. Can the ReadyNAS run 7? I don't know the answer.
