I have had a trawl through this thread but can't see that this question has been asnwered, if it has, apologies ...
I am looking to get a wired link-up between my pc and my hifi. Both are in the same room within a few metres of each other and I am happy controlling the music played from the pc. The pc is always on and hard wired via ethernet to my adsl router. Can I ethernet one of the new receivers to the pc and set it up from the pc without needing the controller?
