I want to put a folder.jpg in all my folders. Now I have scanned all my covers of the cd's I'm going to resize it for showing in Slimserver as thumbnail (left panel) and showing in the status display(right panel) in skin 'Fishbone'.
I have some questions before doing this. I read this in the wiki > There are two file sizes in use in the current skins. One image is used > when you select tracks from an album, the image size should be about > 300x300 pixels. A second image is used as a "thumbnail" in the > browse-by-coverart, and is displayed in the status pane of the Fishbone > skin. This image should be no larger than 100x100. I have some albums that are not on Amazon so I will resize them from my own scans. Do I need to make two files i.e. folder.jpg and thumb.jpg because they use different sizes (100x100 and 300x300)? When the covers are on Amazon what size is preferable 300x300 or 500x500? I have already some 'folder.jpg' files with a size of 500x500. Will I get better quality result when I only use 300x300 images, so SlimServer don't have to resize? In the future I will maybe buy another Squeeze Controller what pixel size is the best for the screen? Any tips are welcome how I should resize the current scans.
