Since the software is open-source, I\'ve done something similar (executing a script at shutdown of Squeezecenter), adding some lines of code to the stop process, but I use Debian Etch and I modify /etc/init.d/squeezecenter (the startup script in Debian), not sure if on Windows XP this can be acomplished, as maybe this is done a bit different. Right now I\\\'m not at reach of my server, so I\\\'m going to check when I get home.
