Umm, don't forget the measurements were +/- 0.02 A, so the current draw
could have been 0.02 A or 0.06 A...

No offense to MuckleEck as he was just using the tools on hand, but a
reading where the instrument error is +/- 50% of the reading should be
considered an estimate.  If he was using one of those "Kill-A-Watt"
meters, they're designed for large loads like fridges.  They are
inaccurate when measuring small current draws.

But still - this is 40 mA give or take.  Not bad at all, really.  A
conventional amp with a remote sensor might draw as much.
