I have a Squeezebox 3, firmware 81 and I'm having a bit of an issue with the volume. If I change the volume from 22 to 33 there is no noticeable change, and then going to 34 it takes a big jump, and similarly no change from 34 to 45 with another large jump going to 46.
Any ideas? I've had this problem for some time now (maybe since I got the unit), but previously I was using an old stereo as the amp and using the remote for that to control the volume, so I didn't notice at first, and when I did, it wasn't a big deal to work around. Recently I switched to a dedicated amplifier that is installed in a somewhat difficult to reach location and has no remote so it's more of an issue. Thanks.
