mondoribo: I've run into some strange problems with ss7 on my Mac Mini G4. Here's what I've done. Run a comprehensive cleaning program such as Onyx. It's free and can be gotten from the Version Tracker or Cnet sites. I run the Automation program within it after the initial checks it suggests. Although viruses are rare I run ClamXAV another free program just to be on the safe side. If those don't help run Disk Utility from within the Utilities folder from the startup disk while holding down the C key. Then run Verify, Repair Permissions and Repair Disk as indicated. These procedures have always fixed the problems I've run into. Also, be sure the path to you Music Folder is accurate in the SS commands. I've made that mistake more than once. Good luck.
