I tried Disk Utility, and while it cleaned up some disk problems, it did not fix the "disk full" problem. However, I downloaded Onyx and used it to clean up a bunch of files, and that did the trick. No more disk full error. The original Slimserver problem was then fixed by rescanning the library. Thanks to everyone for getting me up and running again.
