That's cool, I didn't realize that. It boggles my mind that more products don't use that technology if it's so easily available. My point still stands, once you have the ability to output video you would quickly want to use it for much more than visualizations and once you get to the point of decoding video and all of the assorted audio encodings you have a much more complicated box on your hands, not just a squeezebox with a handy 'video out'.
