Good to read that you have other experiences with flac usage. Reading that you hear differences in highest MP3 bitrate vs CD sound confincing enough for me to doubt my test case. I'll setup another one to re-evaluate the CD vs .FLAC comparison. Also thanks to all other who reacted. I'll take the advise given into account. Hopefully I may be able to do some testing this weekend. I'll let you know the outcome.
