I also find it slow I have a GB LAN, my music server is a chunky box and I find I wait longer for music to start streaming than I did with 6.5.x. Its even hung on me this week for the first time EVER & for the first time my wife complained about the squeezebox in the kitchen... the ONLY gadget we have that's 'til now never raised a complaint!
