The review is fairly flawed in several areas, but not entirely surprising given the limited research the author often does for his articles.
His US pricing comparisons fail to take into account currency variations, import duties and local taxes - the Sonos website price in the US even excludes sales tax. The Apple pricing comparisons I assume are accurately based on UK pricing, although I haven't checked. He clearly didn't do any research into standby power consumption of these devices, 5 watts is green by any reasonable standards.
