Again, if SqueezeCenter->Settings->Advanced->Software Updates==Automatically.. ..then new controller software is automatically downloaded by SC7, perhaps as often as once per day depending on the version of SC7 you are running (7.0, 7.0.1, 7.1) and the controller will then prompt for an upgrade accordingly.
