I've hit a wall trying to fix this bug: http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=7706 The problem is that this is *only* broken on the 770 and nowhere else, which leaves debugging the issue a difficult task. I have a 770 now, which helps me a lot, but no clue what's causing the issue. What I think is the only real way to get at the root problem is to back off to a version of SqueezeCenter/SlimServer that worked on the 770, and then iterate back and forth until a close-as-possible determination can be made as to what revision the version. If anyone in the community can assist with that effort I'd be most grateful. I'd suggest going to the last released version of Slimserver 6.5.x first. Verify whether it works/doesn't based on whether you can submit a search from the skin on a 770. If it works, the next step would be to get a middle-of-development-cycle version of SC 7.0, as released 7.0 is known to be broken. I can help with that part if any kind soul gets that far. Sorry about this, but it's a really weird bug.
