Are you planning on running WIRED between the iBook and Airport? I'd recommend that instead of wireless as there's NO WAY you could handle all of the traffic wireless, i.e. drive (music) to iBook, iBook back to Airport to SB3. If you're running any lossless files at all it would, most certainly, have hiccups. Can you run WIRED between the Airport and iBook? > 2. Where have you seen this? I don't remember much about networked drive problems EXCEPT with the new Time Capsule. I have an Extreme at home but haven't tried a networked drive on it as I don't have anything with USB2. All my drives are FW or eSATA. It should be pretty painless to setup, actually. -- Eric Seaberg Eric Seaberg - San Diego - [EMAIL PROTECTED] __________________________________________________ Mac MINI server w/ 500GB external - Multiple SB3s and Transporter Tannoy and Genelec Bi & Tri-Amped Studio Monitors - 5.1 Surround Recording Engineer/Producer since 1971 - Member AES, SPARS, SMPTE and NARAS ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Eric Seaberg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7896 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=46651 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
