The biggest problem seems to be that everyone wants the SB3/duet to do
different things and everyone runs it on different hardware/networks. 
Thus, for many of us everything works perfectly 100% of the time
(because we have fast stable hardware, a strong network, and don't use
niche plugins), but for others like you, you have many problems.  Like
most people, I've never tried the XM plugin. My best guess is that it's
not yet been updated to support SC.  Have you tried contacting the
developer?

As for why I'm here, it's because the SB3 is such a great and flexible
piece of hardware and I like learning cool new things to do with it.
