Ok, so not the obvious stuff. Can you explain in a little more detail by "I am obliged to create a new forlder with Windows Explorer, and I do a copy & paste of all the sub folders & tracks. It is really too long and absolutely not automatic."
If I understand you correctly, you are creating copies of everything you have ripped and then importing those into Squeezecenter? May I ask why? If so, that is a bit more complicated than it needs to be. In a standard set up you rip your music once, into the structure of your choice. Many people rip into this structure: Top Level Music Folder/Artist/Album/Tracks. I rip into Top Level Music Folder/Album/Tracks. Then you just point Squeezecenter to the Top Level Music Folder (Settings/Basic Settings/Music Library) and do a clear and rescan. Is this what you are doing? Couple of other suggestions: find your log files - assume you are on Windows of some sort, so try C:/Documents and Settings/All Users/Application Data/Squeezecenter/Logs. Open up the scanner.log file and look for error messages at the time you tried your last clear and rescan. Anything there that would shed any light on why the files aren't being imported? Otherwise, can you use the Browse Music folder view to navigate to the missing files? If so and you click on them, do they appear in the Squeezecenter library when you navigate back to normal album view? Finally, I would double check the files aren't there but mistagged (i.e. missing album name or something. If you search for them by song name do they come up at all.
