I don't think it's safe to assume that Logitech -can- afford a 40% discount. Remember that the discount applied to most Logitech products, including mice, joysticks and speakers. These high-selling goods may have a higher markup than new, niche products such as the Duet (especially when you take R&D costs into consideration, which Logitech would be keen to recover before reducing the price).
I actually agree with your idea, a discount for loyal customers ain't a bad thing. But the implied connotations, the idea that SD products are too highly marked-up, could be damaging to the sales of Duets, to SlimDevices and eventually to us, the users. -- simbo ------------------------------------------------------------------------ simbo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=11481 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49703 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
