Siduhe, Thanks for your question. I tell SC7 (running on the QNAP TS-101) to import the iTunes library from the iTunes XML file. As shown in another of my posts in this thread, the iTunes import routine does show the right number of tracks being "considered" / "seen" (I don't know how else to describe it), but in SC7's own library, the number of tracks is considerably lower. No, there is no DRM on any of the tracks.
