I can't see that the extended warranty is very useful. When a drive dies the most painful thing is the restoring and fixing things up. The cost isn't much of an issue since by the time a drive fails, even if it is after just a couple of years, a drive of the same size typically costs a small fraction of what you paid for the drive in the first place. Add to the fact that you normally need a new drive straight away and therefore can't wait for the warranty replacement to happen and it makes the extended warranty pretty much useless. -- andynormancx Yes, it will.
