I cant really help, but the Orange box is known for causing all sorts of problems like this. Not just with Squeezebox, but Xbox360's and all sorts of other devices. It's very cheap, it was made to be given away, and they have to give them away free as no one would ever buy one it would seem. This is not the answer to your question, but I would seriously think about buying a decent router.
