What is the extension of the WMP playlists? Assuming it's something proprietary (do I remember .wpl correctly?) - just add this extension to Settings/Advanced/File Types/Disable playlist extensions. If you do a rescan playlists (may need a full clear and rescan to get rid of the ones that are there) these should be ignored in future.
