Hi Damien,
As Raniere says, I'm just wrangling the core lessons this time around,
but it should be straightforward to publish the capstone lessons. The
key thing is (still) to figure out the metadata, and how to represent
that accurately in widely-used citation formats (I haven't yet found a
way to do it with standard BibTeX classes).
Cheers,
Greg

Hi Damien,
Does anyone know if the published lessons (i.e. the ones that will have a
DOI) will include the capstone examples that are up on the lessons page (
http://software-carpentry.org/lessons.html)?
Sorry to inform you that the capstone examples don't have DOI. =(
The reason I ask is that I'd
like to cite the lessons I taught at the AMOS workshop earlier this year
(shell, python, git, make, data management in the ocean, weather and
climate sciences) as part of my PhD thesis (it's relevant to my chapter on
reproducible research...).
Greg and Matt,
Can we have DOI for the capstone examples?
Cheers,
Raniere
