I've always felt 99% of the license flame wars were really just the result of people
using different definitions of the word "free" and then getting all incensed
because the other's statements are wrong under their definition.
It is a case for a bit of Hungarian notation: "bFree" and "gFree". Then we can all agree that
"the BSD license is more bFree" and the "GPL license is more gFree". On the subject of Hungarian
notation, BTW, here is a great article by Joel
