OK, following on from this. I create a new page by copying one of the existing pages. Delete all but the front matter and then add content. All I get in the generated HTML is placeholders. The actual data is missing. ie. the generated HTML has <title>Software Carpentry: $pagetitle$</title> What is the magic 'extra' that is undocumented and doesn't work out of the box that I am missing?
