As per your question, my approach is very similar to David's and Timothée's. :)

I usually have the lessons printed out on paper, with copious notes to myself and highlighted things etc. I can lose the sheets of paper, which would be annoying, but they can´t run out of power, which I consider to be a benefit. Due to having gone through the lesson beforehand I can usually teach a page or two without really reading from the page, but the highlight etc helps prod my memory when I glance at them.
