Hi All,

as part of the outreach activity we're undertaking with EPCC, we're looking
to pull together resources and examples for young scientists and engineers
in the UK (where young is classified as 7-19, but we are aiming at 10-15).

I wondered if people on the list had come across:
- tutorials that provide a good basis for children looking to use
programming to support their scientific discovery
- "inspirational" examples of science being done by children using
computers, aimed at children, parents and teachers rather than policymakers
- existing initiatives where children can get involved in computational and
data science

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Neil
