Might I politely suggest that given that this has shifted quite far from the merits of teaching SWC/DC to high school students to a broader discussion of the normative conventions of e-mail list etiquette and the overall validity of the code of conduct we close out this thread and then open it up as a new thread. Many who might wish to comment on this have probably missed out due to the misdirection of the title. Just a thought.
